MY APPROACH

The formal answer? I use a combination of mindfulness-based, transpersonal, somatic, creative, and existential therapeutic modalities. But that’s just a string of vocab words – here’s a little bit more about who I am as a clinician:

COST

The fee is $150 per 60-minute session or $225 per 90-minute session. Sliding-scale rates are available for a limited number of clients.

INSURANCE

I’m an “out-of-network” provider, which means I don’t work directly with insurance companies. That said, I’m happy to provide you with invoices that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

  • clinical eating disorders

  • non-clinical suffering related to food and body

  • artists and performers

  • super-feelers, empaths, and highly sensitive people

All are welcome here.

I BELIEVE...

...that healing happens interpersonally and collaboratively.

...in empowering you with the same information we professionals get in our training.

...you are the reigning expert of your own experience – your own suffering, as well as your own healing.

...in laughing and crying right along with you as you take this journey.

...in honoring diverse identities and experiences, and in doing my own work around my past conditioning.

...that humor, play, and feeling good are just as vital to healing as exploring the hard stuff.

COACHING

Coaching is distinct from psychotherapy and is available to clients anywhere in the world

coaching

PLEASE NOTE

Coaching is distinct from psychotherapy and cannot replace clinical treatment. Depending on your individual situation, you may be required to see an additional healing professional (ie. therapist, psychiatrist, or physician) in order to work with me as a coach.

WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching allows for a more collaborative journey and doesn’t include certain retrospective processing, such as trauma work. In general, coaching is more strength-focused, future-oriented, and concerned with skill-building, mentorship, and self-efficacy.
